Aligning Proxy Voting with Values – Experiences from ICCR Members

Webinar: Aligning Proxy Voting with Values – Experiences from ICCR Members

As large asset managers continue to weaken their climate and racial justice commitments, and proxy advisors change long-held proxy voting policies, there has been growing concern among investors about the manner in which their proxies are being voted. New tools and platforms—such as pass-through voting options and customizable proxy voting services—are emerging, offering investors greater control and alignment with their values.

In this webinar, panelists from within the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) will share their experiences navigating this shifting landscape. Panelists will discuss their motivations for adopting new proxy voting tools, the internal processes involved in making the transition to these new options, and the unexpected benefits and challenges realized. They will also reflect on lessons learned, offer insights into how ICCR members assess and select proxy advisors, and describe the attacks proxy advisors are currently facing.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM ET.
